Eric Harris, LCSW
Executive Director
Eric has been the Executive Director of Family
and Community Services of Somerset County since 1994. Prior to that, he served as the agency's Clinical Director.
He received his MSW from Rutgers School of Social Work in 1981. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed
Marriage and Family Therapist. Eric is Chairperson of Somerset County Professional Advisory Committee (PAC), and a member
of the following: Somerset County Youth Commission and subcommittees, Executive Director's Council of the United Way
of Somerset County, Somerset County Human Services Advisory Council (HSAC), and Somerset County Coalition on Domestic Violence.
His areas of expertise include stress management, parent effectiveness, depression and anxiety, domestic violence, marital
and other couples work, children and adolescents, and suicide prevention.

Kathryn Lagoyda, LCSW
Clinicial
Director
Kathy is a new addition to the Family and Community Services staff. She is a licensed
clinical social worker who graduated with her Master’s Degree from Rutger’s School of Social Work in 1992. She has worked as a unit director in an intensive out – patient
addiction treatment program, a community educator in a domestic violence program and a clinical supervisor in a trauma reduction
program for children who have witnessed domestic violence and their non – abusive parent. Kathy’s area of interest
and experience include women’s issues, survivors of childhood and adult sexual and physical trauma, domestic violence
and partners and family members of people struggling with addiction.

Pat Freyberger, LCSW, LCADC
Addictions
Coordinator
Pat has recently joined our agency as the Addictions Program Coordinator at Family and Community Services She received
her MSW from Rutgers School of Social Work in 1989. Pat has been involved in the field of substance abuse and other addictions
for over 25 years. During this time she was a Clinical Supervisor responsible for an outpatient drug and alcohol program in
Hudson County. Pat is NJ State licensed as an alcohol and drug counselor possessing her LCADC license. In addition she is
also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Pat’s clinical specialties include individual and group counseling, stress and
anger management. Her experience also includes dealing with court referred, mandated clients who’s drug and alcohol
problems have resulted in serious legal problems.
