Our Senior Clinical
Staff Eric
Harris
Mr. Harris has been the Executive
Director of Family and Community Services of Somerset County since 1994.
Prior to that, he served as the agency's Clinical Director. He recieved
his MSW from Rutgers School of Social Work in 1981. He is a Licensed
Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Eric
is Chairperson of Somerset County Professional Advisory Committee (PAC),
and a member of the following: Somerset County Youth Commission
and subcommittees, Executive Director's Council of the United Way of Somerset
County, Somerset County Human Services Advisory Council (HSAC), and Somerset
County Coalition on Domestic Violence. His areas of expertise include
stress management, parent effectiveness, depression and anxiety, domestic
violence, marital and other couples work, children and adolescents, and
suicide prevention.
Kathy Megroz-Foley
FCS Clinical Director,
is a licensed clinical social worker who received her MSW from Rutgers
School of Social Work in 1990. She has been a clinician at Family and
Community Services since 1992, a Clinical Supervisor since 1996 and was
recently named Clinical Director of the agency. Kathy's clinical specialties
include treatment with young children, women's issues, anxiety and depression,
relationship issues, and parenting.
Al Gesregan
is the Addictions
Program Coordinator at Family and Community Services of Somerset County
and has been involved in the field of substance abuse and other addictions
since 1981. He is both nationally and NJ State certified as an alcohol/other
drug counselor. He is a criminal justice specialist, compulsive gambling
counselor, clinical supervisor, prevention specialist and a counselor
for mentally ill/chemically addicted clients. In addition, he is experienced
in treating compulsive spending. He has organized prevention groups for
the Latino and elderly populations. In 1996, he received the “Professional
of the Year” award from the New Jersey State Council on Compulsive
Gambling.
Sarah Standish
Received her MSW from
Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond in 1997 with special focus
on developmental disabilities, child and adolescent mental health and
substance abuse. She was a clinical supervisor for the Developmental Centre
in London and worked with children with learning disabilities and behavioral
disorders. She has training regarding A.D.H.D. and other associated learning
disabilities. She is the Intake and Quality Assurance Coordinator at Family
& Community Services.
